Job Title:
Trainee Personal Lines Insurance Handler


Overview

Administration of personal insurance policies, predominantly Motor & Home Insurance. Servicing of new and existing customer accounts.  Speaking with clients in order to take instructions and provide insurance solutions.


Full Description of the Role:

This is technical administration position within the insurance profession, which is customer service led. 

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be working in a highly regulated industry. 

Administration of new and existing policies at inception, renewal and mid-term.  Use of Microsoft applications and bespoke industry IT systems. Speaking with both clients and insurers on the telephone.

The correct candidate will be able to work unsupervised to meet agreed timescales and be able to organise their tasks efficiently.

Full training will be given.

• Producing quotes
• Dealing with new, existing and renewal of    
             business
• Processing mid-term amendments
• Taking payments
• Issuing letters/emails to clients and insurers
• Taking telephone calls from clients and insurers
• Using a diary system
• Building client relationships. 

Working Week:

Mon – Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm.  1hr lunch
35 hours per week
Future Prospects Description:
The right candidate will be encouraged to progress to a senior position within the business.

Skills Required:

Computer literate. 
High degree of concentration and accuracy. 
Personable with excellent communication skills.
Good organisation skills,
work to time scales,

Qualifications Required:

GCSE B/6 or above in both English & Maths

Enthusiastic, punctual, polite with a willingness to learn and progress.

Job Title: Trainee Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Overview

Administration of commercial insurance policies. Supporting senior account executives in the administration and servicing of new and existing customer accounts.  Speaking with clients in order to take instructions and provide advice.

Full Description of the Role:

This is technical administration position within the insurance profession, which is customer service led. 

The role is in support of senior account executives as they provide professional insurance services to their clients.

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be working in a highly regulated industry. 

Building relationships with both customers and insurers is of high importance. 

Production of detailed and accurate client documentation. Administration of new and existing policies at inception, renewal and mid-term. 

Use of Microsoft applications and bespoke industry IT systems.

Speaking with both clients and insurers on the telephone.

The correct candidate will be able to work unsupervised to meet agreed timescales and be able to organise their tasks efficiently.
