Job Description

Thompson & Richardson Insurance Brokers are looking for full time Commercial Account Handlers to join an experienced team. There are positions available at both our Sleaford and Lincoln offices.

Essential Skills

• Working knowledge of most commercial insurance products
• Experience of working as an Account Handler in a similar broking environment
• Experience of working to high stands of FCA compliance
• Attention to detail
• Confident communicator
• Building strong relationships with clients, insurers etc.
• IT skills including use of an insurance IT system e.g. Acturis, Open GI and Microsoft products
• Organisational Skills
• Cert CII qualified or willing to work towards Cert CII

Duties will include

• Supporting the Account Executive with duties where required
• Preparing detailed reports
• Negotiating with Underwriters in placing, amending or renewing clients’ insurance programmes
• Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation
